Trapped!

I ran through the thick fog trying to get back to the city I could just make out the shape of a shed.  I ran towards the shed hoping to find someone to help me.  As I slowed to a jog I realised the shed door was unlocked and the only thing that was holding it was holding an old metal chain.  I undid it suddenly the world went black around me.

While I was coming to I felt how cold the floor was and the smell was over powering.  When my eyes adjusted metal bars surrounded me.  Two red eyes floated in mid air scaring me so much my heart felt like it was about to explode!  As the eyes floated towards me out of the shadows I realised it was the hideous Grim Reeper.  “Hello my friend I see you have woken up, “said the rasping voice of the Grim Reeper.  The voice of the Grim Reeper pierced my ears.  I screamed, “Help! “ “Nobody can hear you out here in the thick fog,” he replied.  Then, I heard the old chain move someone else was at the door.  The Grim Reeper walked towards the door of the shed thud!  He came back one minute later with another prisoner.  Dragging him along the floor the Grim Reeper shoved the male prisoner into my cell then walked away.  Once the prisoner had woken up I explained to him where he was.  “We have to make a plan to get out of this situation,” he said firmly.  “Okay Kade let’s get thinking,” I answered quickly.  I realised that the Grim Reeper had been listening to the whole conversation.  “There is no way you can escape from here,” he hissed.  After the Grim Reeper walked away I wondered, would I ever make a getaway?

That night I started planning Kade and I would need to work together to get back home.  As I looked around the cell I saw the key it was on a hook I would never be able to reach it.  Then I saw a broom against the wall I woke Kade and told him my plan.  He whispered, “We will both have to grab the broom to knock the keys.  Kade tried to grab the broom but he fumbled.  The broom fell towards the cell luckily he caught it before it hit the ground.  He pulled the broom into the cell I helped him knock the keys off the wall.  It was difficult but we managed it.  As I picked up the keys they slipped out of my hands clang!  The Grim Reeper came sprinting out as quick as lightning he spotted us and quickly grabbed the keys.  “I told you there is no way to escape, “muttered the Grim Reeper.  Kade hid the broom behind his back.  Once the Grim Reeper walked away I knocked the keys off the wall and threw them to Kade he caught the keys and shoved them into the lock.  We opened the door creak!  The Grim Reeper came back.  Kade and I ran for the shed door I tripped but Kade pushed the Grim Reeper out of the way and gave me just enough time to get up.  We ran out of the shed door sprinting straight ahead I finally found a road.  I ran straight along the road Kade following close behind I ran back to my street.  I waved good-bye to my new friend and went home.
